Mindfulness…

…is what my psychologist is doing with me right now.

First it was CBT and those ‘Thought Diary’ sheets. Now it’s mindfulness.

I think I prefer CBT really…

My psych gave me a CD to practice with which I’m meant to do each day. The CD goes for about 30 minutes, but there’s the option of doing half the CD one day and the other half the next.

In doing the ‘Mindfulness of the Body’ CD I was either a)falling asleep while listening to the CD or b)letting my mind drift off instead of listening to the CD. And the point of mindulness is to kind of just be in the moment. Which is not really working very well.

Maybe it’ll just take a little bit more practice.
